Ok sorry if this is posted somewhere else. After the news that I can now root my Gingerbread Evo I was wondering if it is possible to keep certain Sprint apps after the root process. I would like to keep the Telenav Navigation app that Sprint provides.

easiest way to do this is download titanium backup and use that to backup the apps you want. and when you flash a rom you can just restore it. be careful with certain system apps. and data when restoring. it could cause conflicts with the current rom.

Also, some roms will put in a folder on your sd card called "Removed Apps" or something to that effect. Not all roms do that, but some do.
