Keeping YouTube in Full Screen mode

I'm trying to keep YouTube app in Full Screen mode after playing the video. Instead, it minimizes itself when the video is finished. This is a problem for my 3-yo son since he cannot figure out what is happening, and how to make it big again.

I checked app settings, i googled a lot, but could not find a way to keep it in the full screen.

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on this.
