FAQ: What is Perflock Disabler? HTC added a "perflock" in their stock kernels to prevent over/underclocking. SetCPU's Perflock Disabler, like its name implies, disables this restriction.

Could this be the issue on our Connects to? Because underclocking has NO effect on my phone whatsoever.. but I'm kinda iffy about enabling the perflock disabler on the connect because set CPU says this is a issue on most HTC phones.. does anyone have this issue? And is there perhaps any other fix?

it would hurt anything but I doubt it will allow oc anyways as its hard coded in the kernel src, but wont hurt to try it. ;)

I only was willing to try this because my underclock settings wouldn't save. But I figured out that they save unless I open modern Combat 3 then it forces my phone back to 1180.
