I've got a few questions I'm not sure I have a good grip on here.

I've got hw 004, 2.15.00xx radio, 1.90_003 PRI, not sure what kernel I currently have. I assume its HTC #15
I was running myns rls5 with stock kernel for a couple of days, then I got the infamous 4g toggle issue. I tried everything to fix it, didn't work.
I then restored my original nand and went from there. Putzed for a day, then I noticed I was getting running 100% and screen on 99.9% under spare parts other usage. Weird thing is there was no huge eater under partial wake.
I then tried to run toastmod 4.3.1 cfs HAVS no sbc with my stock restore, I could litterally watch the battery % drain. about 1-2% a minute. I restored my original nand, things are stable, but my battery is still not lasting long enough. Max 10 hrs, with light usage and long idle times.
1.) Does a nand restore the kernel also, or am I still on netarchy?
2.) Should I downgrade my PRI and NV to 1.77? (heard this might be the culprit)
3.) I'm a little confused on the downgrading procedure. Should I flash the zip files I got from XDA in recovery? Or do I apply them differently?

I've read a TON, probably why I'm confused.

Myns ran tits until I got the 4g toggle issue. Good battery, fast and stable. Since then I can't get it to run right, battery wise.

As always ANY help is greatly appreciated! :)

    1. A nand restore, restores your phone to exactly how it was at that point when you performed the nand backup. Meaning if you had HTC #15 when you made the backup, you'll have HTC #15 when you restore *that* backup. If you had netarchy 4.3.1 when you made the backup, you'll have netarchy 4.3.1 when you restore *that* backup, and so on and so forth.

    2. It wouldn't hurt to try and downgrade and see if that helps.

    3. Just download the flashable zip and flash as if you would a kernel or ROM.

    1) yes, it restores the kernel.
    2) definitely worth a shot. if it doesn't help, you can always flash the latest.
    3) Each version is a separate .zip. Just flash the version you want to have.

Here's the link to all the various radio roms on xda, for everyone's reference:

    Thanks folks!

I've already dl'd the pri and nv from xda, just wanted to be sure I was following the right steps. :D

I assume I flash the pri and nv after I flash everything else, rom kernel etc, correct?

    Flash after the ROM.

    Thanks Frenchie!
I'm going to down grade to 1.77 then try netarchy again. I hear so many good things about this kernel I have to try it. :)

I get horrible reception at the house still, this might account for the heavy battery drain. I notice Battery life is alot better when I'm out working. I assumed it was because I was working and not dicking with my phone. ;)

When you get horrible reception, you're battery will drain much faster on account of your phone constantly scanning and searching for a signal. Your phone doesn't have to scan and search that much when you're out working (I'm assuming you get much better signal while you're at work), therefore your battery won't drain as quick.

It could be you dicking around on your phone too :p.

OK, that's why I'm still getting horrible battery after my restore. I am on HTC #15.

Flashed the 1.77 PRI, no prob. Tried the NV, got some kingd of firmware error, flash was aborted. I booted fine. Is the NV downgrade essential? Should I try it again?

EDIT: I rebooted into recovery and tried the NV, flashed fine. I don't think the PRI and NV are supposed to be flashed at the same time.

I really liked myns, and sorta want to go back. I can flash myns or mikfroyo with the down graded pri and nv correct?
The down grade is only to get the netarchy kernel to play nice, if I'm not confused. (which is very easy :D )

Yes, you can flash Myn's or Mik's w/ downgraded radios.

    Thanks a million Frenchy!
I got myns back up and running with netarchy 4.3.1 cfs havs nosbc. Battery is holding up nicely, even at the house.
I guess my piece doesn't like the 1.90 pri, go figure.
Up side is it likes havs! :D
