This is a lite non overclock version of Freedom kernel, but with all the same features.

Added Features:

  • Allows removal of "any" app without bricking
  • ADB rooted
  • Interactive governor
  • conservative governor
  • SmartassV2 governor
  • Intellidemand governor
  • Superbad governor
  • Init.D support - details

Instructions:

  • Wipe Cache in Recovery
  • Then Flash Zip

Huge Thanks to GT.

Downloaded it as soon as I saw this post :)


This is my test result.


1. Placed it on SD Card.

2. Reboot into recovery. I just used 2nd-init app because it's right there.
(If you have others like PG's CWM recovery you may use it)

3. Flashed it. (no factory reset or cache clear)

4. Reboot.

5. Security error appears then disappear shortly. Scared me phew...

6. Booted fine.

7. Deleted Google Apps using Rom Tool Box

8. Rebooted again.

9. Everything's fine :)

Just to mention... I was about to ask for a change log regarding the updated touch when I discovered that it recognizes the internal SD. Cheers once again you modest, awesome mofo. ;-)


EDIT: I stripped my Rom WAY down and it boots just fine ;-)

Was it only google movies and books that we couldn't remove before? Also does this download help with moving apps to external sdcard?

:D just took out all that metro/lg/google crap . Thanks a lot brother i feel like i own it now . The hell with lg and its locked bootloader , peace of shyt got bypassed hahahahaha . We should send lg some pics of our oc kernal once its released , show them whos the boss here .
