Keyboard combinations and shorcuts

    I could be wrong, but I don't think I've seen a thread with a comprehensive list of keyboard combinations and shortcuts anywhere for the Motorala Droid, so I thought I'd share the ones I know of and if anyone has anymore, feel free to add to this thread.

    Here's a list of the ones I know:

    Holding Up on the d-pad while rebooting:
    goes to the bootloader screen

    Holding X while rebooting:
    brings up the recover menu

    Holding X while rebooting, then Vol up+camera on recovery screen:

    hard reset

    Left Alt+Shift+Del:
    soft reboot

    Space key twice when typing a message:
    inserts a period

    Shift key twice:
    shift lock

    Alt key twice:
    Alt lock

    Spacekey:
    Pg down

    Shift+Spacekey:
    Pg up

    Alt+Spacekey:
    special character selector

    Shift+Del:
    delete character to the right of your cursor

    Alt+Del:
    delete entire line

    Alt+d-pad down:
    jump to the end of a list

    Alt+d-pad up:
    jump to the beginning of a list

    Alt+d-pad left:
    jump to the beginning of a line

    Alt+d-pad right:

    jump to the end of a line

    Shift+d-pad left/right:
    highlight text

    Menu key+x:
    cut

    Menu key+v:
    paste

    Menu key+c:
    copy

    Menu key+z:
    undo

    Menu key+a:
    select all

    Alt+q:
    Tab

    Menu key+i in browser:
    zoom in

    Menu key+o in browser:

    zoom out

    Menu key+r in browser:
    refresh

    Menu key+j in browser:
    back a page

    Menu key+k in browser:
    forward a page

    Menu key+f in browser:
    find

    Menu key+h in browser:
    history

    Menu Key+return key in browser:

    home page

    Menu Key+s in browser:

    F within a gmail message:

    R within a gmail message:

    A within a gmail message:
    reply all

    Y in gmail within a message or in inbox list:

    archivemessage

    Menu+u in gmail:
    refresh inbox

    Menu+c in gmail:
    compose a new message

    Dial ##PROGRAM on the call screen and send, then enter code 000000:

    Programming menu

    Dial *#*#INFO#*#* on the call screen:
    Field test mode

    This is awsome. I am a physical keyboard user and these shortcuts will surely help.

    Good list! I learned a few things.

    However...I feel the need to point out that you can change the "Search+(letter) key" functions by going into the "Quick Launch" section under Settings>Applications.

    Also, I dunno about everyone else, but "Alt+Q" just gives me the number 1.
