I tried to search for this, but didn't come up with anything...

I am trying to track down a keyboard which will let me customize the keys. As an example, the stock keyboard has the "voice to text button", I never use this and want to make it something else. I'm liking the SlideIT keyboard, but it has the G for Graffiti.. which is worthless. SlideIT doesn't have "?" on the main page, so I'd love to replace the G with ?.

I'd also like to be able to use "swype", but that's not a big deal.

Are there Android keyboard which let you rearrange/reassign keys?

    I'm on a Dinc2, 2.3.3

I have been wondering the same thing. I've installed several and have not found one, which is stupendously frustrating. What are they thinking with all these 'customizable' keyboards that don't allow you to rearrange the letters??

I have been wondering about the same thing. I am using Go keyboard and it is the best I have found but problem is that I use certain symbols from the 2nd page of the keyboard quite often which makes typing very slow. It would be much faster if you could 1. either add customizable buttons to either end of the keyboard, that you could assign any symbol to (of course this would make all letter buttons a bit narrower), or even better 2. assign custom symbol to long-press of letters. Currently numbers are assigned as a long press for the top row but middle and bottom row are free and a lot of symbols would fit there. I chat in IRC and use mostly (in addition to point and colon) from second page the symbols, /, -, #, @, ? and !, sometimes even " and *.

    Any suggestions...?

Super keyboard Pro seems to solve most of my problems, I really recommend it to others too.
