Help keyboard

I have the galaxy s5 and I am finding that sometimes when I go to send a text message or to type in my password at the home screen, my keyboard on the phone either stops working and minimizes or does not show up until after 3 or more tries to get it to work. What is wrong??? It is very frustrating.

Hello and welcome to the forums may I ask if your rooted . or can you change launcher to something other than touchwiz

I am sorry but I don't know what rooted means...and don't I have to use touch wiz?

May I suggest you download SwiftKey free and try it. It is much superior to the stock keyboard. Phil

You can use any launcher and theme pack from the Google play store . or you can try another keyboard app such as
