KGI expects sales of the Samsung Galaxy S8 to be lower than last year's Galaxy S7

KGI has issued a report which shows that Samsung will only sell 40-45 million units of the Galaxy S8 devices in 2017 - a figure which is lower than the sales of the S7 last year. The reasons for the lower sales projection include the return of Samsung's flagship Note lineup, the "lacks sufficiently attractive selling points" and the expectation that the upcoming iPhone will come with wireless charging, an OLED screen and a new functions area.
