Support Kies Connection Problem

    Hi there i have Windows 7 64 BIT and as yet have never been able to connect my galaxy s to Kies!!
    i plug usb in and click KIES option but nothing shows on kies!

    if i click Mass Storage it shows in my comp ok and card shows in kies

    i have called samsung but they were no help just usuall rubbish (could be anti virus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!):thinking:

    First try reinstalling KIES. Sometimes the drivers get messed up. Make sure you uninstall both KIES and the Samsung Drivers.

    Next try formatting your internal SD card and remove your external SD card before connecting to your PC.

    Had the same problem. I connected my phone to kies via pc internet mode. Kies detected my phone. Then I reconnected via samsung kies mode, kies was now able to detect my phone. This worked for me, give it a go.
