    Hi!

I'm using Samsung Galaxy 3, nice phone though. But when I try to connect via USB to Kies, there spawns a problem.

The Phone shows it's connected to Kies, but Kies just show "connecting" and the connection process lasts forever. 1 or 2 times it connected, don't know how.

I've tried reinstalling Kies, restarted my cell phone of course etc., but nothing helps.

    Waiting for Your response, thanks!

You have to use TW launcher (the original one)... if you are using launcher pro or any other launcher for thath matter it won't work.

not quite true, a lot of people (including myself) had trouble with tw launcher as well. i currently use go launcher ex and find that if i unmount the sd card before connecting, then it connects fine.

I got exactly the same problem. Here is what I did, and so far so good.

    1. DO NOT CHECK THE OPTION - Sync automatically when device is connected.

    2. Delete the short-cut of Kies on desktop, or don't use it at all.

    3. Follow the steps:
    1) Connect the phone to your PC
    2) Wait, just wait. It is important, you have to wait it shows up in your PC before opening the Kies app.
    3) Open the Kies from Start => Al Programs => Samuang => Kies.

    That works for me.

Also found that removing SD card before connecting works. Just ignore the warnings about it being missing or unmounted.
