    Hello,

Purchased a new Europa 24 hrs ago and very impressed.

Only problem I currently have is when using KIES. I have a library of music I wish to download on to my 1 Gig card on the phone. However although KIES shows the device as connected thare are no options or Icons to sync media (music, photos or videos). Only Contacts.

I hope this is the correct area for recording this type of message, just joined and don't know my way around.

    thanks

    Andy

HI Andy. When you plug the phone in via USB, you should have a menu that pops up on the phone from which you pick "Kies". Once you have done that you get another message in the notification area of the phone, and you have to select something like (not in front of my pc right now) 'mount' the SD Card. Once you have done that you will be able to sync stuff on and off of your phone :)

Alternatively: connect your phone with USB instead of KIES and just copy your music straight onto the SD-card. As soon as you remove the USB cable, the media scanner will kick in and find your newly copied music.

..or even just take the SD card out of the phone and plug it directly into the PC. I found this the best approach when I upgraded my SD card to 16GB and wanted to quickly download my music to the card for use in the phone.

The first post fixed my problem, obviously not reading the manual properly !

The other 2 posts will also be useful in the future.

    Thanks to all.
