Help Kies problems

SG3 using USB Widows7/64

For no apparent reason my Kies will not connect to my phone.
I've reinstalled Kies done all the trouble shooting but still no luck. It appears the drivers are not loading - although the icon does appear in the startup area but then disappears ?

Can anyone suggest a fix or better still is there any other software that I can use with my SG3 ?

Do you have administrator priviledges?
I too had issues, but after checking under device manager and windows update it installed everything and works fine now. This includes when I had it running both custom roms and stock.

I'll also add I had the same problem when I had my SII, followed the same procedure of updating drivers through device manager and windows update and it sorted it.

Run as administrator and done everthing including removing Kies files from the registry.
I've download from Samsung and other sites used other computers but the drivers will not load.

Anyone else used/tried other software ? I've had enough of Kies.

I have the same problem... Windows 7 x64

I tried using Kies when I first got my phone 2 months ago, and the same issue occured. I tried again yesterday and it still won't connect.

Samsung clearly doesn't support this program very well.

My phone connects ok but every time I try to update the firmware it says "GT-i9300 does not support initialising". I agree Kies is just about the worst program I have ever used, I'm sure a company as big as Samsung could do better than this. Phil

Kies does suck, took 8 times for it to work for me !

best bet is to "once drivers that were loaded 5 times in last 10 mins" Right click kies and run as admin should work then!
