Killing Car Home Ultra & some freezing up

I have Tasker turn on car home ultra, adjust bt volume, turn car mode on, and keep display on whenever I my phone is connected to my cars bt and has the power cable attached. Then i have an exit task to turn off car mode, keep display on never, and kill car home ultra (tried with root and without).

Car home ultra never gets killed. It stays on in the background. Also, at disconnect, the phone is very sluggish and sometimes will freeze up and need a battery pull. I've noticed this the most when I turn off the car but leave the phone plugged up and restart.

Any clues?

Yes, secure settings is installed and used in this profile to keep the display on.

Any update on this? I can't seem to figure out how to completely close Car Home Ultra with Tasker and Secure Settings

I don't use Car Home on my phone, but Google Music used to not close for me. Using a Kill App action, a second or two wait, and then another Kill App action for the same app solved the problem for me

I use the TaskKill plugin to forcefully terminate stubborn apps which just don't like to die (most notably those that include a service).
