Kindle fire or Filemate Identity

have this option for christmas. I already have a kindle 2, so I'm covered on e-reader, but I'm not sure which would be better for games/movies. I want this as basically a laptop light, not for social media and such, so I really care about the games available and similar, can anyone give me a good comparison, since with so much out there good and bad it's hard to get honest answers to this question. The tablet has a much higher storage ability, but the kindle has the brand name behind it.


Since this is an android forum I had hoped that with both having android systems (more or less, in the case of the kindle) I could get some help.

What exactly is a "Filemate Identity"?... it sounds like a cheap China tablet from Ebay, that's probably best avoided. I'd certainly go for the Kindle Fire over that.
