I am rooted running Phiremod 6.2. All of a sudden I can't download my archived books. It says download interrupted. My wifi connection is good and my internet is working good. Any suggestions?

OK solved my Kindle problem. There were 3 books that were included with the app. I removed them all and now my personal books will download.

Can you go into applications and stop/clear your Kindle app and try again? You'll lose your settings, but your books are stored on their servers.

Hey Rick, sorry I haven't responded till now. Been messing with the GB update for the X. I did force close and clear data but no luck. It allows me to call up all my archived books but when I try to download one it immediately causes a download interruption. Could this be because I am actively using Amazon Kindle on my X?

Sorry, never had a Kindle account. I've never used any "reader" app, so not much help.

I put CM7 on the nook color...had the same problem with the nook and kindle apps... reboot to recovery (no flash card mounted) solves the problem.

    1. download app from Market
    2. reboot to recovery

Had the same problem. CM7 installed, tried to download from archive. It would get to 100% then say "interrupted " . Took a while but I finally realized it was because I didn't have a SD card mounted. Do that and it should work fine.

Ray, thanks for the answer - I was scratching my head on this for about 10 minutes when I decided it was search time.

What's DUMB - the error message it gives - 'Download interrupted'?? Download is fine, apparently. It just gets very confused when it can't find a place to find it. DUH. Even dump it to /data for the time being, tell them why you had to put it there, give them an option to move back to SD from within the app.

That's what I'd do. No error needed.
