it rooted me first try

And now your Alcatel is phoning home your personal stuff to servers in China?

Sometimes have to be a bit careful of "free" one-click rooting apps.
And you do realize you can install and run supersu me right after to uninstall kingroot and switch it to supersu

Really I didn't know that, So installing SU ME will work just as good as KingRoot?
I've seen many cases of SU ME is the cause of bricking issues happening after KingRoot has been uninstalled.

Worked perfectly for me.

Thanks, Is there a link available to install the SU app that you used that worked perfect for you because I've looked and it's too many to name?

Hey dude or what every thanks I was right and should have followed my first mind to not to install SU ME because that SU ME bricked my phone after trying to remove KingRoot after SU ME was installed. So I'm out of $ 182.00 replacing my phone from taking your advice.

Sorry to hear. I have used it on 4 separate Fierce Xl and it worked perfectly on all 4.

Just found out that KingRoot has it's own superuser connected with the installation called kingUser that works just like Superuser. So installing another Superuser app would be very dangerous to the device because of an incompatibility issue that may occur. In short installing KingRoot and an outside Superuser would be like installing 2 separate Superuser's on the same device that may cause the stock ROM to become unstable and push the device to have to flashed with the original stock ROM or a compatible custom ROM if bootlooping have been presented. So even if you have successfully perform that task without bricking your device, It would not be advisable to have anyone else to do it because their luck may not be just as good as yours.

Actually supersu me removes kingroots su app before it even installs super su

So why did Superuser ME brick my device after attempted to remove kingroot from my device actually?
Did you use super su me pro? If not that is why. The free version hasn't been updated in a long time and worked different from the pro version. As i have already said I have now used it on 5 different fierce xl's with no problem. Also used it on several other phones without problem.

Like I said after 4 bricked devices and $1500 dollars later I'm not rooting nothing NO MORE. So good luck on your rooting endeavors and for myself Im no longer interested nor do I care for that matter on how you navigated that task because it's not going to replace the $1500 dollars that I've lost. But I also see your memory precedes you because you was the person that posted the link for the pro version of SU ME and the free version of SU ME with no mention of the instabilities of the free version that you was so happy to posted in a previous conversation we had about this issue.

For that I do apologize. I wasn't aware at that time that the free version hadn't been updated.
