How about a klingon dictionary?
Where would we get the Klingon and English (or other) word lists?
They do make a Klingon Dictionary
Amazon.com: The Klingon Dictionary (Star Trek) (9780671745592): Marc Okrand: Books
If someone wanted to send me a digital copy of that, I could probably help. I just don't feel like typing out hundreds of thousands of words. XD
I'd be more curious if the actual language is copyrighted first
Wow, I didn't think it was possible to copyright a language. But, on doing some research, it appears that Paramount Pictures owns a copyright to the language which, although disputed, is currently valid. So, if we wanted to create a dictionary app, we would need to get written permission from Paramount. Either that, or construct our own dictionary of Klingon that would need to be reverse-engineered from the language itself.
I liked the sound of this, but a quick search using Google (perhaps you've heard of it ) reveals that there is an android app called Babylon 2 Go (Babylon for Android) that may do what you want. There is also a Klingon dictionary available for download on their site (English - Klingon Dictionary - Babylon). I am guessing you can install the app and the Klingon dictionary and you'll be good 2 go. I haven't installed it so I cannot give any comments on it.
