Does anyone else notice that when you click on the Text Messaging icon that your text messages lag as they appear in the display (for example, I see phone numbers first associated with each message, and then I have to wait a few seconds before names slowly pop up in place of each number)?

If so, is there a fix?

I haven't noticed this on my phone. Are you running any sort of Task Killer?

It may have something to do with the task killer? I cant say for sure, but I noticed that my phone started to run smoother after i removed the task killer app that i had installed.

You could be killing some sort of app in the background that keeps this type of thing running smoother, but thats just a guess. maybe you can try removing the TK and see if that helps.

Yeah, I was kinda skeptical about removing the task killer at first, but after i did, i noticed that a lot of "hiccups" that my X was having before hand started to disappear. Glad I could help! :D

Bottom line: Task killers = bad IMO.
