Large button or icon for google microphone?

I like using the google search microphone, but it's sometimes kinda fiddly having to hit it in the google widget bar. Is there a way or an app that can have the google voice search button big and chunky on the homepage?

Note: I don't like using the 'hey google' or 'ok google' feature.

why not just make the widget bigger? if you long press google search on the home page, you should get an option to enlarge the widget.....at least that is what i can do on my Nova Launcher.

I can only make widget wider, and then the mic button is still small and very close to the photo search button.

As for the app, any attempt to do anything with it just resulted in full screen ads. Never got to a point where I could even use the thing.

I just did a search in the play store. If you search for "voice search" or "voice search widget" you get a lot apps to choose from.

Thanks, it's better. Still not ideal tho, too many steps and I prefer spoken answers to basic questions.

I have discovered in the meantime that long-holding the home button does what I'm after. Nice. And as a bonus it's doable even when an app is open on screen, don't even have to go back to home page.

I have a galaxy a13, and by the home button I mean the middle button on the navigation bar, the one that gets you to your home screen. Isn't that what it's called?

Unfortunately that cannot be made larger.
As mentioned previously, you can put a icon or widget on your home screen that will open Google search...

For sure, but there don't seem to be any good simple ones. In any case as I mentioned earlier, the home button seems to be the solution as it also allows me to access voice search when not on the home screen too.
