I received/activated my new LG Motion 4G yesterday.
(Originally, it only received 1x/EV data. As it turns out, this is a common problem with MetroPCS related to an unactivated SIM card. MetroPCS chat solved this within 5 minutes and the 4G indicator appeared.)
I ran speedtest.net at 2 different locations:
Smoke Ranch / Tenaya (Work): 1.4mbps down / 4mbps up
Charleston / Jones (Home): 4mbps down / 5 mbps up
I don't mind the speed at work since we have WiFi available, but 1.4mbps down for 4G LTE isn't exactly top notch. FYI to anyone needing speed in Vegas.
