Hi all,
I am having difficulty installing the ICS firmware on my galaxy s2, and dont know where i am going wrong...
I opened kies earlier when i found out that the new update was available for orange. I was greeted with the message telling me there was a new firmware update available, to which i clicked on and let it install.
I then let the phone start up. However, the firmware was still set on android 2.3.6, and none of the features of ICS were visible.
I then set the phone to factory restore, and restarted kies in the hope that i would be able to start the update process again. But kies says i have the latest firmware (PDA:KL2 / PHONE:KL2 / CSC:LB1 (ORA), while my phone says im still on the 2.3.6 firmware.
I literally have no idea what has gone wrong/ how to get the ICS update now via kies.
Is anybody able to help solve this problem?
thanks.
