Ok guys, probably being really stupid here but I have just installed launcher pro and I have set it up with 5 screens.

I want the middle screen to be my default home screen, much like it is in sense but no matter what I do I cannot seem to get it to default to this no matter what number I pick.

What number should I pick or what am I doing wrong.

    HELP!!

Its not really a case of finding it. You press the 'Home' key and select it. If that doesn't work, go into applications>manage applications>htc sense>clear defaults. Then press the 'Home' key and select launcher pro.

launcher pro is good overall, no slow downs till now. smooth sailing. the option to move between screens using the trackpad doesnt seem to be thr in laucher pro, as thr is in the HTC sense. the transition effect is launcher pro is coool though. is thr option to import my sense widgets over to the launcher pro screens???

Plenty of equivalents in the market though. I see it more as a choice between the bottom bar of Sense or LP, that's the main difference.

I find the 3d app drawer is making the change between screens very jerky and unstable. I like it though (3d app drawer) just not willing to run it at the moment if it is unstable.

eh? The 3d app drawer doesn't change between screens. Are you sure are using the latest version? It's super smooth for me.

Yeah I didn't explain that well at all, with the 3d app drawer enable I find the whole thing laggy, especially change between screen.

With it disabled, it is a whole lot more smooth.

I'm liking the new swipe-able dock draw that came with the v0.6.0 upgrade yesterday.

Guys, I just found Launcher pro and have to say it's absolutely brilliant! I am having such a good experience running it. I have the HTC sense and the only thing that I really miss (now that I'm not using HTC sense any more) is the main clock/weather widget. What's the closest equivalent to that (look and functionality)?

---Can't wait for Froyo... as there are so many great apps now I keep running out of space!!!!!

Really good tip if your using another launcher for your desire (I'm using launcher pro) Change back to sense then set the scene to 'clean slate' you will free up tonnes of system memory and it will be even faster!

That was not of my own knowing I saw it on here somewhere but thought i would share :)

It was too good to be true. Looks like HTC made the dev take this down. This is silly... I have the HTC and this widget is in there but I can't use it unless I use HTC sense! Come HTC time to get your head out of your a**!
