Help Launchers on Galaxy S3

Ive tried several different launchers at thus point on my verizon s3 they all stutter when swiping home screens. Guess ill wait for the official JB to be released and see how it runs.

Ive never had this issue with nova or apex on my other phones and no issues on my infinity tablet

Does Samsung's implementation of JB improve the TW launcher?

I'm using Nova since I was on ICS. It works flawlessly, and even now with my phone running JB it works with no issues. TW has been improved, but you'd still miss many features any 3rd party launcher would have. Just give it a try: remember to install an icon pack, Nova with TW icons looks ugly.

TW doesn't allow you to easily add home screen items like
widgets.you have to go through the app drawer :-\

I us GO Launcher, runs really smooth on my Verizon GS3, love this launcher! I use it on my Nook Tablet also, and had it on my Droid X.

I've been running Aokp ROM with touchwiz launcher and theme, runs really smooth I like the stock look.

I bought Nova Prime. Love it! I had been afraid a launcher app would mess up the beautiful elegance of my TW setup and that I'd have to remember a lot of gestures that would take brainpower. That's true to a small degree, but the flexibility and additional controls more than make up for it.

Couldn't agree with you more, regarding Nova's power.

Regarding the TW setup:
I first install Nova on my S2, right after ICS upgrade. Cost me lots of restoring. So before I set up Nova Prime on my new S3 and Note 2, I got the "Desk Migrate" app, which copy entire TW icons, shortcuts and widgets, as well as I did backups of widgets themselves, along with Nova backup. The restoring on brand new device, took literally less than 3 min.
Many of these backups are stored in DATA folder, or corresponding widget folders, which I just copy paste from one phone to another.

I'm running stock jelly bean and I use nova.It's awesome,I love that I can speed animations.

Touchwiz looks good everything changes to stock, if you want it let me know, you have to be rooted to flash this launcher.

I've tried a few of these launchers and none of them can reassign the long press of the home button that causes the task manager to appear. I dont mind that its a task manager, I just hate the fact that it can bypass apps that I have locks on and show a brief preview of apps that are running. Why not just list the apps out instead of actually showing the activity. This is a major flaw on the GS3

That's not a flaw of the S3, it's an Android feature, so it's Android to blame.

Actually if you want super smooth.. TSF shell is a good one, but its expensive.

TSF is expensive and it takes a little getting used to but I've never seen a smoother launcher, and I've tried almost every one mentioned here.
