I switched to the Darkside

    I bought a Droid X

So the Wife will get my Droid. I am seriously considering leaving the Phone rooted with CM6 and Watermark'd theme on it for my wife.

It has worked great since I installed it in Aug.. Battery would be decent for her too as it was for me..

    Thoughts?

I rooted my wife's D1 with BB0.5 and she likes it much better than stock.

Let it be dude. We all know things are even better when rooted and overclocked and stuff. Wouldn't want her getting frustrated running at 600mhz.

Although, I'd probably let her look at the different theme options and choose one. Finding a theme she LOVES can make her experience much better. Its all about the cosmetics ;)

oh man, can you imagine the can of worms you could open there? it be like a chick trying to pick shoes... I would advise against this, just pick 1 and give it to her and tell her it is the best 1 :D

Yeah she relly doesn't care but wanted something plan.. The Watermark'd ICONs she did not care for so for now I installed Pete's Latest stock Froyo..

She how well that goes for now. I have enough other things to maintain. let alone her phone too.. LOL

I have most the basic apps added i think she will need. Just waiting for her to tell me to swap service to the Droid..

On my X I miss CM6 with the theme I had, but there are some nice features on it.. I just need to pick a theme to use for a while.
