Help LED Issue

Hi, just got this phone the other day, i was watching tele when i noticed my phone power led was flashing red, i had no notifications etc, plugged it to a charge it stayed a solid red, unplugged it, it was still a solid red. I rebooted the phone and the red light would come on straight away solid yet again and i've just hard factory reset the phone and it's doing the same, any help?

EDIT: Actually, when i plug the charger in the light turns orange and when i unplug the cable it turns red.

Do you have Handcent, chomp or any notification apps installed?

Nope, nothing. I have just totally factory reset the phone nothing installed.
As well as doing a factory reset, i've disabled all notifications and the problem still remains.
