I am not happy with the NavDroyd GPS map program and upon recommendation in other Android forums, CoPilot looks like it will do what I want. I'm really looking for something that combines the ondash convenience of my experience with Magellan Roadmate and Google Map. I see almost all of these features in CoPilot.

I just looked at the CoPilot compatability info and don't see the Lenovo A1 listed. Since the A1 has only been released for a few months, I'm wondering if the Gingerbread OS 2.3., can handle CoPilot.

I'm so new at the Adroid OS that I'm reluctant to be the first to try this.

I would appreciate any thoughts or comments.

I've had no problems with CoPilot on any of my devices. Including the A1, Acer A500, Samsung galaxy. You might look at "Navfree", if you are in the United States then "Navfree USA" otherwise you will need "Navfree ".

I've been using my CoPilot on my A1 Idea Pad, for local travel and find it easy to use and have have no major complaints.

I am getting ready for a road trip and want to load CoPilot with a data base of travel stops for RVs. I have the data base in both address and long/lat coordinates. The provider of these data files states use "CoPilot’s Planning Mode, choose Import Custom Places from the Tools menu to open the Import Custom Places Wizard". I'm not able to get into this "Planning Mode" and only find a input with individual addresses.

BTW. My CoPilot version is 9.1.0.203. and I have loaded in all the the N. America map data.

Any help would be appreciated. I will be leaving in a week or so and would like to have this data available in CoPilot.

Thanks,
Steve
