what improvements have you experienced so far?
Hey Pino, what's the latest version for 91 pc suite? and where to get it?
I have v220.127.116.11
I have just copied the apk files from that archive because adb said the same thing - device not found.
It would be great if we can push google apps - I'm satisfied with the Market only and the LEOS 2.0
it seems to be more stable, the wifi works correctly and is not crashing.
I had the original LEOS 1 then the custom 1.7 and from time to time it was crashing in my pocket and was shut down.
These are minor, but I wait for the final release - as this is BETA LEOS 2.0
I got into a loop reboot at bootloader.
Rock, you have the latest PC suite, I downloaded it from here:
91 PC Suite For Android - Android Download Center
I find a way to make adb work:
put the phone in debug mode
install the Lephone 2.0 drivers
open the PC 91 suite and leave it open
root lephone with Z4root ([APP] z4root - xda-developers)
before starting the push commands just do a "adb root" command
Doing this I was able to install the files, but my Gmail and Market apps are not able to connect to google servers, I already tried to clear the cache.
I went into a loop and I had to reinstall the firmware.
Well, here it really starts to be messy.
I had the same situation as you at first for at day or two. Several attempes to login with gmail. Uninstallling/Installing google apps (also newer versions than in the package).
At last google talk started "Yelling" about not able to login. Cleared cache once more (had done that several times), and logged in with success after started Talk.
I have done it, it is possible, we just don't know how...
how important is adb push system /system/ ???
As I saw in that folder are other files than the apk files.
Good that you have your phone up and running again!
The folders other than app in system/ are certainly important. I forgot them. Install all apk files in app also "manually" afterwards.
I should have written down every steps I went through, but thats not my nature.
yes, but how do I copy them as I receive the message there is no space?
I used the PC 91 suite file explorer to delete the apps and the META-INF folder to restart the process. Sort the files by "Edit time" and you can clearly see the apps that you have pushed there.
Rock, before pushing the system folder that you downloaded remove facebook, twitter and maps from the app subfolder to avoid "no space" problem.
Them I just did the hole process again, and this time it worked.
Great, are you also able to connect with Market now?
Yes, It's working perfect
not trully working!
I can log, navigate, see all the applications on market, but I can't download any one.
What version og Market do you have om the phone now?
Mine is version 1.82
Now it's working, mine is version 1.82 too.
My findings regarding the problems:
- "Can't establish a reliable connection with a google server"
During instalation of google apps using adb push make sure that you have wi-fi turned off and 3G or Edge turned on
- "Market download doesn't work"
It's a bug related to Google Talk, you must be logged into google talk, so you can download in Android Market.
In case it's even worst, as I'm in Brazil it's impossible to log in Talk here.
So I had to uninstall all Google apps, remove Google Talk and Voice from system folder on my PC, and them start the push process again.
Which apk do we install for android market?
Which .apk file is the Market file? Is it the MarketUpdater file?
I put all the apk files on the phone and then uninstalled the ones I don't need.
I cannot tell you for sure which one is.
pay attention as my lephone went into a boot loop after restart and I had to reinstall LEOS.
Market updater and vending.apk are the market files.
Pay attention that you need to follow the instructions discussed here to install this files, you can't just install the APKs as a simple app.
any news about when LeOS2.0 not beta is coming?
in LeOS2.0 beta is the Cloversettings in chinese?
I have LeOS 1.7 and my cloversettings is in chinese, and I need it in English?
Cloversettings is not provided by Lenovo, it's part of A-team custom firmware.
As LeOS 2.0 bet is "official" it doesn't have any option to change the clover.
LeOS 2.0 final version should be out in February according to some friends in Lenovo China.
any news from your chinese friends? hmm i guess they still on holiday because CNY(chinese New Year)
