When I'm texting or writing an email I have a problem with letter deletion. For example, if I want to type the word "that" I type "t" then "h" and as soon as I hit the "h" the "t" deletes. Same thing happens with any "ch" words. Or "y" then "o" the "y" deletes. I have a bunch of other examples, too.

Any one else have this problem? Know how to correct the issue?

    My phone is unrooted, Froyo

Are you using the stock keyboard? If so, maybe try clearing the its cache in Application Settings.

I have the same issue. Verizon sent me 3 replacement phones 2 with the same keyboard issue and one with blown speaker. Im tired of getting replacement phones.

Please don't suggest purchasing a keyboard app., shouldnt have to buy another app. Verizon should have fixed this with the Nov. OTA, instead they use it to install their own apps.

If anyone has a fix for this please post. Thanks in advance.

We shouldnt have to buy another keyboard, but if there is one out there that will correct this problem I'll get it.

I was considering purchasing another keyboard, but thought why should I. Verizon or HTC should fix this. Why do I have to spend my money fixing what they should be fixing. Send me a replacement that works or give me a new phone.
