The stock browser on my LG Ally force closes almost instantly when pages are finished loading. I've no idea on what to do how to fix it. I've tried Dolphin, and same problem. Any help with this is appreciated.

Are you using Velocity or any other custom ROM? You might need to wipe everything and re-flash. Try Opera?

I have the same problem with certain web sites that have popups scripted differently than what the Android browser default security permissions permit.

My local daily newspaper, the Sacramento Bee, has pop-up ads, but when I choose not to open them, the page I was originally trying to visit loads. When I visit links to the Washington Post from my twitter client, Tweetcaster Pro, the page begins to load, and when it's almost loaded the browser closes and Tweetcaster reloads.

If I visit the Washington Post directly using http (browser only) I have no problem loading pages on their site.

If it is a FLASH issue, LG Ally owners seem to be out of luck. The minimum reqs for Adobe Flash for Android are phones with an ARMv7 chipset/core/architecture .

LG Ally has an ARMv6 chipset/core/architecture, using a 600 MHz ARM11 processor. As far as I understand, the Ally can't run Flash or Firefox, along with several other apps.

It's not an official flash and is still quite buggy.

Yes and no. Flash sites that work right are still pretty hit or miss with the ally. Oftentimes if it doesn't work it'll crash the browser. I only tried out Flash on my Ally for a little bit but didn't find it improving my website experience in any way.

I do have the Adobe Flash 10.1 currently. Do you suggest I uninstall it?

And I don't have any ROMs installed, and the browser force close occurs immediately when I launch the browser and google loads up. There's no flash on that.
