Hi, im new...
I have a LG f6. I like that phone. But i ran into a problem that i cant google or you tube or anything...
I recently got an app called showbox and i want to download a movie..
Problem is my internal storage is 1,27 GB. With apps that leaves me around 600 MB to play with...
A movie is 1,5 to 2 GB...
So i cant even download.
I have a external sd 32 GB.
But everything goes directly to internal...
Is there a way to download stuff DIRECTLY to the external Sd..??
Some suggested ADM or change settings on stock browser..but nothing helps...
My phone is not rooted, but i can do it if required....
I yried everything, but i think im just not android smart....
Please if anyone can.help.....?

When you download each movie..right before starts..the app will ask you where you want to place your file..that's when you have to choose from your directory..but the set up has definitely to be from within the app..

App doesnt have that option. For some reason it downloads automatically to the downloads section ( liberary) of the app itself. Which happens to be the internal memory...
Thank you for the reply though.
There is in other option i may have before switching to a bigger memory phone :-( ,..
Root and get the " external 2 internal" app...problem is ..i CAN NOT find that app in the google store..??
Is there anothwr way to trick the phone into using external into internal..?
I know im asking alot of stuff here...ill make sure ill search the forums for related things...maybe ill come up w something...there has to be some kind of solution here...
Stupid LG lol

Yes there's others ways to make your phone does what ever you want it to do..one of them is a little work but it's worthwhile..consists in partitioning your internal sd card which should be about 11gigs into your system storage which it's typically 2gigs..so your memory ends up with about 7gigs and your internal sd card with about 5gigs..(keep in mind this has nothing to do with your external sd card)..just research it..I did that with my Hercules about a week ago..watch!!!

Typically after rotting your baby..you want to download an app that requires root permission..which is to delete or freeze (which ever is your preference) junk system apps..and that's how you will start gaining control of your ram and system storage..for that you would have to do your own research too on what is ok to uninstall and what isn't..once you start deleting a few unnecessary of "those" you will see big time difference and how smooth your phone will become..that I can guaranty you..but first things first..if I were you I would root it (yesterday..jijijiji)..nothing to lose..and to freeze..the app Link2sd has that feature inside too..or you could use Titanium it self..or another one called MoveToSd..let me know..

I will definietly do that.
I rooted with towelroot ( simple enough lol)..
But before i install Titanium backup, or link2 sd etc..i need to research few key elements first..
Jellybean, kitkat, Linux, TWRP, fat32...etc etc..as of now all sounds like either items in my halloween candy bag or character names from star wars, lol..
I want to make myself familiar with those terms and especially what is the difference between them and what is good for my phone.
For example i noticed that most of the stuff is for Metro PCS and my phone is T-mobile. Also in the Lgf6 root section for tmobile there arent any roms as of yet..
..so it will take me a short while before i plunge into installing things and arrive at my goal of memory expantion,..but i will definietly let you know how my progress goes..;-)
Again , thenk you so much for your help.
Its amazing how helpful everyone is in here....
