LG G Watch offline music - BT phones connect but no sound

Has anyone successfully connected BT headphones to the G Watch after the .2 offline music update?

I've tried 2 sets, and tho they both connected (on and off) I'm not getting any sound out of them - they're both BT v2.1 - sound they work with 4.0 LE?

Meanwhile still waiting for the update to try the same on the Gear Live!

Yep, literally just tried this 15 mins ago and it worked fine for me. the G Watch is paired with a set of cheapo headphones from Amazon ( i forget the make but they're listed as BCH10 in the BT menu. I have a set of Jabra Step headphones coming on Monday so hope they work.
