I bought the LG G2 to replace my Nokia. I noticed that when I applied a Qmadix screen protector to the G2's glass, the lock screen behaved strangely, turning on for a few seconds before I could enter my password. Also, knock knock did not work, and when I finally got into the phone, it turned off randomly while I was making calls, browsing the web, etc. After taking off the screen protector, everything's working fine again. So, my question is which screen protector works with this phone? I had my screen protector installed in-store. Thanks!

Jeff

Probably "installed in-store improperly". I always use Zagg shields. They're more expensive, but the shields are good and the company is a good one to work with if you have a problem.

It looks like, from the packaging screenshots when googling around, that the Qmadix screen protectors for the LG G2 cover the proximity sensor. That could be the cause of the oddities being experienced.

The screen protector that comes with the G2 out of the box is trimmed so that there is no protector over the LED, proximity sensor, front camera, etc.

Ordered the Zagg because the photos on Amazon indicate cut-outs for the sensors. Bestskinsever said theirs do not fit the Verizon LG G2 yet. In the meantime, I used an Exacto knife to cut my Qmadix protector so that it won't cover the sensors; looks tacky but there are no more problems. Thanks for all your help!
