LG G6 how to backup

Backing up your phone is very important if you want to keep your data and media safe. There are a couple of ways to do it on the LG G6.

Back up apps

1. Go to Settings > Backup & reset
2. Under 'GOOGLE BACKUP,' tap Back up my data
3. Tap the Back up my data switch to the ON setting

Back up contacts

1. Go to Settings > Backup & reset
2. Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
3. Tap Back up data and check that SD card is selected
4. If prompted, sign in to your LG Account to continue backup
5. Select Personal data
6. Deselect the other options
7. Expand the Personal data folder and ensure Contacts is selected
8. Tap Start to begin the backup
9. When 'Back up completed' displays, tap Done
