I don't see that.
The alternate path is

/dev/block/platform/7824900.sdhci/by-name/boot

Yeah I was wondering, I see it referenced on the device multiple times but not under that exact directory. I will have to keep this in mind!

Should be able to test some stuff out by evening. Reinstalling Windows.

In case anybody is still wondering, I found way to unbrick it from the LG Mobile Support Tool. I had the same exact issue rooting it that same exact method.

Make sure the phone is off and not connected.

1. Download and install the tool from here.
2. Start up the tool with the phone still disconnected.
3. When the tool finally starts up, put the phone into download mode (holding volume up while connecting USB).
4. Click on Options then click on Recovery Update.
5. Go make lunch (this part takes a while and is pretty automated).

It takes a while, but it's worked twice for me.

You won't have root, but at least the phone works.

What is you're trying to do? Is your phone soft-bricked or only trying to flash firmware
