So I tried factory resetting my LG optimus V (rooted, no custom ROM's or recovery installed), from the privacy settings page. Now it's bricked. When I try to go into recovery mode, the lg logo flashes, but then it's still a blank screen. Same thing with emergency mode. If anyone has any solution that would be awesome, I really need help with this fast, I've tried looking at other forums and threads but haven't had any luck so far.

Edit- If anyone posts a new solution try to dumb it down as much as humanly possible, I'm kind of new to this stuff. Thanks!
Edit- Allright, I flashed a custom ROM from cwm recovery, said was succesful, but My phone still goes immediatyl either to a blank screen or recovery mode... any suggestions?

If you have a working custom recovery your not bricked. What recovery do you have and what ROM did you try and install?
Let us know when you bought the phone and what the original OS version was so we can determine what screen version you have (this is important when installing a recovery and ROM)
If you tried to install the recovery and a ROM from ROM Manager then go to the sticky ^ The Truth About ROM Manager.
