My LG G Stylo 2 Plus (LGMS550) won't read flash drives.

I have the USB debugging on in the developer options but to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I've also tried multiple flash drives and various micro usb adapters

I've tried searching the web for information on this, but haven't found any reliable-looking source that says it supports OTG, and some sites or posts that say it does not. There is no mention of the functionality in the user guide for this phone either. So absurd as it might seem, it's possible that the phone simply doesn't support it.

I found some posts suggesting trying an app called Stick Mount, and some threads on XDA talking about system hacks to try to enable it (most likely requiring root - I didn't actually look in any detail), though those seemed to be referring to "Stylo" rather than "Stylo 2 Plus" so cannot guarantee they were relevant.

The lg v20 does read otg. Not all LG phones like the headline suggests. There are levels within brands.

My title says 'LG phone...' not LG phones

My LG phone to be more specific, which is the LG G Stylo 2 Plus
