Lg Thrill Screen Problems

So my lg thrill screen won't light up! We just replaced it for the second time, all the ribbons are where they need to be. The buttons light up and the phone goes about its normal business, it just doesn't turn on! It signs me into my email and I know that because the phone has that certain vibration for it! We double checked all the ribbons, and plugged the phone in. What could be wrong with it?! HELP!?
