Help lgp500h wi-fi error, used to work, now just says turning on, then error

hi everyone, i looked through these threads for about an hour and could resolve,

my issue is the wi-fi has stopped working on my phone, it used to work fine, now when i go into the 'wireless & network settings' and click to 'wi-fi' to turn on, all that happens is it says 'turning on' for about 20 minutes, then it comes up with 'error'

any help much appreciated,

Can you tell which ROM you're using? Rooted?

i have never changed ROM from factory and phone has not been rooted. wifi simply stopped working for no apparent reason..

Try to update your phone using LG PCSuite or try Unbrick using LG PCSuite. This will overwrite almost every file. But I believe it should be fixed if you
