Root Liberty v1.5 issue

is anyone else experiencing a hard freeze with liberty 1.5? in example:
if my phone is left alone for sometime it will freeze and require a battery pull to wake it back up, overclock settings are at 1000max 300 min (stock) cause mine never stays at 1.35 max and 900 min

anyone else experience this?

random reboots arent that common but does happen, but the freezing happens maybe once a day. wondering if im the only one experiencing this

this happens on my gfs x with liberty 1.0 and 1.5....i have reinstalled 1.5 twice and its still very buggy ,,,,will be taking it off later and installing apex

Nope. Been running 1.5 since day one and not one single problem so far. Thought I was having a battery drain but have not seen that for couple of days. Might have been a fluke, but still watching it

Most stable rom for me so far. And trust me i have run them all.

i may sbf back to stock and try it fresh, maybe its the issue, i ran it from day one 1.5 was out and 2 days ago started noticing the errors, my overclock was set real high once and battery went to 107 degrees so maybe its an issue, once i sbf and try again we will see, im hoping its just a fluke

I was having the same exact issue. Actually got bad enough that I was crashing ever hour or less. Wiped data, reinstalled, and didn't theme, limited apps. It's running fine now.

Can't tell if it was the theming, the no clock/no throttle patch, or a program. Much better since I wiped.

Others have reported it as well. If this and some battery tweaks can be implemented, this will rock.

Still a great ROM overall though.

well my phone died on me in the middle of the super bowl(GO PACK!!!) so i was kinda bummed that i couldnt facebook war someone during the whole thing but im just waiting on a charge so i can start to see if the issue has been resolved.

This has happened to me a lot on 1.0, but with 1.5, I've only noticed it probably twice in the couple days it's been out.

Ugh, twice in a couple days is not "a lot"?

Glad I stuck with Gummy JAR. I really don't care about the toolbox and GJ is about the most stable ROM I've put on the phone so far.

It happens to me 1-2 times every other day, REALLY annoying. I am also thinking about going back to GJ.

if it does it to me three more times within this week, i will make a switch to another rom, this phone is not a blackberry and should require a battery pull

im wondering if downloading the file again and installing a fresh clean copy will help...

I've tried the same and it still locks up on me randomly...very odd. Someone on XDA told me it's because I need to reformat my SD card, but I don't know what truth that has...

well i will try anything, this is the only rom that people make themes for anymore lol, so yeah im wanting to keep it, so i will reformat my sd card and redownload a new clean version of this rom and install it, and then wait...... just hoping no more reboots or freezes

Maybe try Rubix 1.9.7. I heard that was good and it has plenty of themes. I have not tried it yet, but plan on doing so sometime this week.

i think i may, that or gj but i think i will give rubix a try first, i had all of the roms backed up but deleted them all once i started having massive issues with this liberty, it took 4 installs for 1.0 to work like a charm, i hope it isnt the case for 1.5, cause that can get quite annoying

so far Lexington 2.8 and rubix. and dark slide have been really stable and no roboots
im on rubix now and not a single problem
worth checking out

Went from Liberty 1.5 to Rubix Focused 1.9.7 today...Liberty's battery life wasn't very good for me.

darkslide is very stable for me, im just not a fan of that battery, and there are no themes for it yet, but darkslide doesnt really need a theme, im very phone of the designs that it has, but some aspects of it just do not appeal to me, i will test rubix out for a few days and see how it goes for me as well.

I'm having the same issues. Random hard freezes that require a battery pull. I went back to GJ. I had issues with 1.0 also, I think some phones just don't like certain roms. I wonder if flashing the sbf and reflashing liberty would help.

i have done this and it didnt work, however, after earliers episode of liberty freezings, it hasnt rebooted, or frozen yet, so im going to download and place rubix on my sd card just to be prepared to flash, and redownload another copy of liberty 1.5 and just install a fresh newly downloaded rom of liberty to see if that can help it out some

Hummmm I have an idea! for those having the random reboots try pulling your sdcard for a day or two and see if they go away?
