I have an HTC Hero 6250 (Like the Sprint Hero) and I'd like to use it for recording from an audio source. If I plug an audio source into the headphone/mic jack (such as a cassette player with RCA outputs using an adapter) it can record the audio, but it's way to hot and greatly distorted.
I haven't found any ability to correct this through the Hero's own settings. I've tried a couple of different audio recorders, looking for one that can reduce the level of input, but none do the job.
Does anyone know how to make this work? Settings? Accessories?
