Drewwalton from Project Open Cannibal has made a new recovery for our phones!!! It is a touch recovery with the ability to also use the same buttons as GNM recovery.

This recovery is amazing and it has ICS/JB flashing support (for when we finally get to that point).

That's my favorite part as well lol, also it was just updated to 2.0.1 but they fixed one thing and broke a ton of other things, will keep you all updated.

It's having a few problems, they are working on it. I will keep you updated, but please post bugs on AC. Drew doesn't come around here much.

yeah same problem joniedys recovery had, why i switched to GNM, would use CWM but the buttons are to screwy

Its still in the works. Same problems occur on Optimus S and V. @tripdoc, BobZhome uploaded his OM ICS kernel that boot with CM9, touchscreen is still not working though. https://github.com/BobZhome/GingerKernel-thunderc/commits/ics_camera_ms

yeah i havent touched it since removing python and destroying my ubuntu install.. lol.. have to get it all set back up.. maybe tomorrow.. im going to see if its possible to install ubuntu to a external drive to make it portable.. carry my build env with me so when i wanna make changes i can plug it in lol.. probably be slow building that way though..

Yesterday I had to install some 32 bit libs and it uninstalled Ubuntu reinstalled Ubuntu, all files were still there, programs were all removed. I hate Ubuntu.

I don't have time for games xD I'm trying to fix this touchscreen driver......everyone I talked to says synaptics digitizer is the most screwy one around -_-

That branch is borked, instead use the master branch...default config file is 1chaos_defconfig idk why synaptics touchscreen driver wasn't set to default

Darn wasn't posted when I installed it. Just made a fresh backup and that was it. At least rom manager flashes back super easy.

Yup. Main cause of my phone entering fastboot Lol. Then problems with it finding android on pc. Had to unbrick my phone and add all my info back on it..... They should really make changes to their post to ensure us what's going on with the recovery right now. Instead of posting it at the end of the thread

Hey ya'll (yes I'm from Texas), CWM for the Optimus M+ (MS695) is now available in ROM Manager! And they have a touch version available.

I flashed this about 4 days ago and is working fine, no problems flashing either, great recovery... touch screen makes it perfect to let your buttons breath .

Flashed this to one of my working (not in service M's) and its soooo easy to flash when you already have recovery! If not, still easy! Like the way it looks and works so far, I'll be flashing over GNM if I'm satisfied. Thanks!
