Help Link2SD - Gingerbread Issue

Hey guys, I've a problem with gingerbread. I've created an ext2 partition on my sd card. LINK2SD successfully installs, but when I start the app it asks for partition type and reboots immediately.

I never came across this problem with froyo. Please help me out.

im assuming you put gingerbread on there yourself through samfirmware?

if so, and if possbile revert back top 2.2 the galaxy ace is about to get the official gingerbread update,. the one from samfirmware is pre-release and will have some bugs.

think about it you'll have to live with a 2.2 for a few weeks but at least when you do upgrade it'll be official and fully working.
