Help LINK2SD NOT MOUNTING SECOND PARTITION

Hi! And thanks in advance for your time!

I have a VK700 Phone, android version 4.4.2 kernel version 3.4.67 recently rooted, sd card partitioned in two: First partition fat32 9994 - Second partition fat 32 5937

According to the model of my phone do I have to use other then fat32 system file?

Create mount scripts works just fine, reboot and no error, but when I open link2sd and go to internal memory and try to move an app from there it says /data/sdext2 mount not found and the button link to sd card is greyed out.

Also when I go to storage info it says sd card 2nd part not mounted.

Could you please help me on how to configure properly link2sd on my phone?

Your problem is that you formatted the second partition in FAT32. Link2SD requires a second partition in an EXT format, it won't work with FAT.

You should format the card in a PC using an appropriate utility, NOT in the phone.

Hi! Thanks for replying, I have made the formating in a card reader both primary first Fat32 second to ext2 link2sd don't mount second partition.

Hm that should work. It's been a while since I used this myself, you may want to head over to the Android Applications forum and search for threads that discuss Link2SD. I know there are some.
