linux and xorg on galaxy mini

Hi,
i have succesfully used the linux installer app https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nYWxvdWxhLkxpbnV4SW5zdGFsbCJd
on my galaxy mini (android version 2.3.4) to install debian squeeze. I can't run x server, no success so far.. I can post the xorg.conf file and Xorg.0.log file if required. Have someone succeded in such a task? I suspect, the failure has been due the poor hardware available on this phone.(600 mhz arm processor and 279 mb of memory)

Thanks in advance for the replies.

You can repartition the internal memory (storage) for more system space, but of course you can do nothing about RAM. That's likely the biggest limitation.

In the guide seems that the ram is more then the "physical", after applying the suggestions therein. Look at this screenshot : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40706818/Gladiatore/gestione_english.png

The phone is a samsung mini and seems to has much more memory without physical changes.

astonished..

emm storage..not ram..sorry
