Does the legend support live wallpapers?

I have downloaded the aquairium wallpaper but it doesnt appear to work

do i assume the legend doesnt support live wallpapers then?

If it does...can anybody give me an idiots guide to get them running

I don't think Legend supports it. One of the things left out, or rather chosen for the Desire instead. (1Ghz vs 600Mhz I guess.)

well the milestone has it , with only 550MHz , they even ported it to the g1 with 528MHz (or something) .. why wouldn't it be on the legend ? starting to hate htc as of late (touch sensors , good phones only cdma like inc. and evo , and no live wallpapers unless for the 1GHz-ed phones)

It is possible, and it has been done albeit very recently.

but sadly, with LWP (Live WallPaper) enable, u lose Weather/Clock animation. still not perfect yet.

Personally I'd rather not have it and save having something completely pointless draining the battery.

Since the FroYo update, the Legend DOES have live wallpapers. I'm rocking the Nexus wallpaper atm.

to be honest, i love the new Live wallpaper thing,

but it still sometimes lag my phone.

Lag is unavoidable.. the processor (600 MHz) can only do so much. Battery drain is also another issue.

I have 2.2 on my legend but do not use live wallpapers. It was cool for the first few days but then reality set in. . I do like the native Grass one though... that seems more simple and at least looks less demanding.

ticking usb debugging in applications helps with lag...and froyo update allows u to support live wallpapers
