In some social situations, you want to show off the interesting games, or any interesting apps to your friends. Then they always lend the phone to give it a try. At this moment, you start to worry that your secrets or confidential information are in Gmail, Messaging, facebook, Money Manager, and Calendar.

There is one interesting protection app called LockMyApps can help solve this embarrassment  . After you start the service of LockMyApps, as your friend unexpectedly/intentionally open the sensitive apps, and then LockMyApps uses the stop or pause mechanism to protect these apps.

These apps seems to be broken, and won’t ask your friend what’s the password. So your friends may not know you have already intended to protect some apps if you hide the status icon.:thinking::thinking:

Besides, if the kid uses the phone, you can use LockMyApps to lock the Dialer.

    Download Pro version

In many social situations, we want to share the interesting apps to our friends ASAP. Only 3 clicks, it can share the running app so quickly. So it won't waste time to find the exact one from the long list apps. ;)

AppQuickShare provides 4 ways: QR code, Email, Messaging, and Facebook.

    Free Download : http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:com.AppQuickShare

There are a couple of apps I would consider, but I'm not sure they fit the bill exactly:

    Evernote:

Evernote - Android app on AppBrain

This is a cloud based note service which allows you to create notes from all sorts, especially on a desktop PC client, but you need to create an account and the editing function on the phone is a bit limited. The beauty of this is that it syncs everything to the cloud so you can access the same information regardless of which device you use to access it. You can encrypt individual notes (ie. password protect them) on the desktop version, but I'm not sure how this translates on the phone app.

The other one worth considering is Keepass:

KeePassDroid - Android app on AppBrain

This is primarily designed for storing passwords, but I'm sure it could handle a Christmas card list as well. It's very secure (depending on the password you use!), but does not offer a facility to sync data to your desktop unless you use it conjunction with another application like Dropbox...

    Starter for 10 anyway...

LockMyApps works well on froyo. It not only locks the apps, but performs like a broken app, ha...others won't think the apps have been locked:D

LockMyApps add a nice feature: it lists the suggested apps, such as : gmail/facebook/Messaging/Contacts/Setting.

So the user can lock these personal apps quickly.

An interesting feature called "Funny Theme" has been added to the LockMyApps Pro. As your friend clicks the locked app, it will only show the selected funny theme, and your friend may feel happy even she/he can't open the locked apps. :D

Looks like a good app. If you're also worried about people reading sensitive messages, or you have some racy pictures, private info (such as credit card info, passwords etc) you should try 'Hidden'. It's a relatively new app, only
