Help Lock screen on Galaxy S5

DRCS

Lurker
Running Kit Kat 4.4.2 on a Galaxy s5. Wanted to use a free wifi using "XpressConnect by Cloudpath Networks". It insisted that before using it I set the phone to a lock screen with PIN so I did. I find this a real pain and later uninstalled the wifi app. However I still can't get rid of the lock screen. When I log in through settings the only options I have are "PIN medium to high security" &"Password high security". All other options are greyed out. Any suggestions?

Hi

Probably you have a vpn configured (left from the app) which requires a secure lock screen

Menu
Settings
Wireless & networks
More
Vpn and remove the vpn setup.
