Help Lock screen photo?

I've tried to set the lock screen with a separate photo from the wallpaper, but it won't work. If I go to Lock screen > set photo as.. and choose the photo, it won't change. But if I change the wallpaper photo, it'll change the lock screen photo as well. How do I make it two different pictures?

Im having the same issue. Would love to know how to make a lock screen photo different from the home screen photo. Why does it even give you an option if its not possible?

Yeah, well I guess if it isn't going to work, I recommend purchasing WidgetLocker. I just installed it. Inexpensive and very useful!

Unsure on the way you are doing it as stated above.

I went to gallery > chose my photo > menu > More > Set as > Lock screen Wallpaper. And Walla...Second photo which is different then main photo.

As I am typing I decided to try the above method in 'Quotes" and it worked for me also.

I've tried that several times, but it still doesn't work. Must be something wrong with my phone.

I found that if you use a password to unlock it will not change from the home.screen pic but if you don't use the password to unlock option it will work

Just tried that, and it worked. It sucks that you can't have a password and a different photo.. But thanks for clearing that up!
