Can't find anything in the settings

You may want to look at Widgetlocker, which you can customize to your taste.

It's by the same people who made Nova Launcher.
You can also find plenty of ready made samples on google play, across the web and at mycolorscreen.com

I use the home button to lock/unlock the phone. Using a combination of Nova and Screen Off And Lock app :thumbup:
